Town and Municipal Shelters

As a part of the Long Island community, we at the Suffolk Veterinary Group Animal Wellness & Laser Surgery Center strongly support our local municipal shelters and animal control organizations, who work hard to provide lost and found pets shelter, medical care, and chances to find their forever homes.  Most of the animal shelters and adoption centers listed here are municipal shelters operated by their local Town governments.  Some Townships have turned over their animal shelters to private rescue organizations for operation and management.  This list is intended for informational purposes only, and does not constitute an endorsement by the Suffolk Veterinary Group Animal Wellness & Laser Surgery Center of any one particular organization or shelter.  They are in no particular order.

If you feel we have missed a town shelter or animal control organization that should be on this list, please do not hesitate to email us at SuffolkVetGroup@optonline.net or to call our office at 631-696-2400 so that we can include them in our listing.

Testimonial

I want to thank Dr. Winkler and his staff. They are the most compassionate animal care center ever. And when we recently had to put our kitty down, no where else will you receive the compassion they show. God bless them for their kindness and caring hearts.
