Small Animal Hospital Staff - Technicians
Angie has been working at the Small Animal Hospital since March of 2006. Angie began working in the veterinary field at the Forest South Animal Hospital in Chicago. In 2001, she left Chicago and started working at the Wolf Merrick Animal Hospital in Kenosha, and then worked at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in the departments of emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and medical imaging.
Angie has two cats named Mimi and Tatum, and enjoys traveling, cooking and baking, and roots for the Chicago White Sox!
Katie has worked at Small Animal Hospital since 2012, and absolutely loves her job. She graduated from Parkland College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2006 and worked in emergency medicine for 5 years before moving into day practice. In her free time Katie makes jewelry, loves to read, and has been known to carry a book with her everywhere she goes. Katie owns three cats named Tawney, Willow and Raina who are wonderful and loving company for her, and a mountain horned dragon named Canth.
Patrick lives in Milwaukee and worked at the Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals and Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center prior to starting at Small Animal Hospital in 2014. His family (aside from Beth and Cora) includes Swimmy the fish, Elmer the rat, and Ooka the Corgi. Other than working with animals, he enjoys camping and making music with his friends.
Erica has always worked with animals and is enjoying learning more about the veterinary field. In 2015, she joined the technician staff after obtaining her certification as a veterinary technician. She lives in Milwaukee with her husband Billy, her cat Lightening, her tortoise Simon, and her dog Rizzo. She and her husband love spending time outdoors and her hobbies include reading, scrap-booking and other crafts.
Cindy Olsen, CVT
Cindy Olson grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Wisconsin. For the past 20 years she has lived in the Southeastern U.S. where she worked as a veterinary technician. She lives with her husband, a member of the United States Air Force and with two Frenchies named "Biggie and Wilma".
