To prevent the spread of internal and external parasites, boarded animals must be free of all parasites. My pet will be checked for external parasites such as fleas and ticks and treated accordingly at my expense. A stool sample must be tested every year to ensure my pet is free from internal parasites. If a stool sample has not been done on my pet in the past year we will obtain one and test for internal parasites at an additional fee plus the cost for any medication needed if my pet is found to have internal parasites.

Should my pet become ill while in the care of Russell Animal Hospital, P.A. I understand that the staff will make every effort to contact me regarding any treatment they deem necessary. I acknowledge that in the event the staff of the Russell Animal Hospital, P.A. cannot reach me immediately, I authorize them to initiate appropriate treatment until I can be reached. I agree to pay all related expenses associated with the treatment of my pet until I am available to discuss further care and costs with the attending veterinarian.

Pets must be picked up between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM Monday thru Friday and between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM Saturday. We do not discharge after hours or on Sundays. If your time away is going to be shorter or longer than expected please notify us.

All pets are housed separately. If I request that my dogs/cats be housed together while boarding. I have been informed that some pets do not get along in close quarters in a strange place. If this should occur, I understand that the animals will be housed separately for the remainder of their stay. I will not hold Russell Animal Hospital, P.A. liable for any injury to my pets while they are housed together.
