Dr. Phillip Schwarzlose

Dr.Phillip Schwarzlose graduated from Texas A&M Vet School in 1999.  He was raised in Zorn, TX (just south of San Marcos, TX).  He most recently practiced at Blanco Vet Clinic but recognized the potential at Four Paws Veterinary Hospital and decided to make the leap into practice ownership with the support of his wife, Cydney, and children (Noah, 11 and Logan, 7).  Dr. Phillip has practiced veterinary medicine in Marble Falls, Dripping Springs, and Blanco.  Dr. Phillip’s clients recognize him for his compassionate care of their animals balanced with the financial needs of each client.  Dr. Phillips long-term clients consistently praise him for his knowledge of veterinary medicine and his ability to solve complex problems facing their pets.  He loves being a veterinarian and it shows in the way he relates to both the animals and their family.  He recognizes the strong bond we develop with our pets and makes sure owners know they are providing the best care possible for their pets.

Tracy- Manager

Tracy is a native of New England. She joined the Four Paws team in March 2014.  She has had experience  working with exotic pets such as birds, pocket pets, reptiles, and even monkeys.  Tracy has been working in the veterinary field since 1997.  She shares her home with 6 dogs, 5 cats, and a fish, all of which are rescues.  Her enthusiasm is contagious and she has added a fun aspect to our hospital team.

Aphrodite and Puppy

I've had pets for most of my life, but in 2005 "Riley", the best cat in the world (apologies to those of you who think you have the best cat in the world), succumbed to cancer, so I started volunteering at my local animal shelter to "shop" for a new kitty.  Eureka!  In a couple of short months, "Aphrodite" and "Puppy" had found their forever home and I had found my "forever job" - honestly, what took me so long?   When Dr. Phillip called to say he had purchased Four Paws, I was on his doorstep before he could change his mind! So very excited to get to tech for him again!    Of course I love puppies and kittens – who doesn’t?  But I really love-love-LOVE your older pets - maybe because I can relate to the various aches, pains, and indignities of aging.  I do solemnly swear to patiently spoil them almost rotten at every visit!

Clint Younts

Although I was born and raised in the great state of Texas, I attended the University of Tennessee where I somehow earned a degree in Animal Science back in 1980. Ever since, I have been working with animals. For the past 17 years, I have worked in vet clinics in Dripping Springs, Buda and now here at Four Paws.

I live on my family’s ranch out near Buda with my wife of 35 years where I manage a small herd of beef cows. I no longer have cats or dogs, so my pets are these hoofed friends.

In my spare time, I write a humor column that runs in several weekly newspapers in central Texas, “A View from the Crow’s Nest”. It’s fun and keeps my beer fridge well-stocked.

Kelsey LaField

Born and raised in Texas! I have had a passion and love for animals since I was just a tiny tot and have owned a chinchilla, frogs and even pet rats! Volunteering and fostering at local animal shelters is what got me into the veterinary field and I am currently working to become a Licensed Vet Technician.  I currently have two rescue pets of my own: a 10 year old chihuahua named Meatball ("Meaty" for short) and a eight year old cat named Penny. I work various positions here at Four Paws so you never know where you might find me! Usually I am up front helping with reception, helping with patient visits, or taking care of our boarders. When your pets are visiting Four Paws I can promise to shower your fur-babies with lots of love, pets, and treats!

Shelby Seifert

Born in Scottsdale Arizona, I grew up in a small town in California called Lake Isabella. My family moved to Midland, Texas in the early 2000's, where I lived on a small 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, and dogs. This began my early passion for animals, as I had a huge responsibility with my pets and the farm. I attended Greenwood High school, where I was a member of FFA and participated in horse judging, and participated in volleyball, softball, and track. I'm a water baby and will do anything that includes water. I want to become a registered LVT and someday travel the world to help veterinarians cure diseases. I am the mother of two beautiful fur-children named Henry and Annabelle, both of whom love water just as much as I do.

When you call Four Paws Veterinary Hospital, I will probably be the voice you hear on the phone, and I promise to always do my utmost to help you get the best and most appropriate care for YOUR precious little bundles of fur!

Allison McGlamery

I was born and raised here in central Texas and have worked a variety of jobs here at Four paws Veterinary Hospital since August of 2015.  I love all the critters, but have a special passion for horses and dogs. I am currently studying Animal Science at Texas State University, on my way (hopefully!) to vet school.  On any given day here at the hospital, you can find me answering phones, filling prescriptions, clipping toenails, and generally helping out Dr. Phillip and the staff in any way I can. Working at Four Paws is a great way to multiply my skills and increase my veterinary knowledge.  Getting to love on our patients makes coming to work a pleasure!
