We recently upgraded our in-house radiography (x-ray) equipment to produce high quality digital radiographs, which are important in the treatment of your pet's medical and surgical problems. Radiographs are an essential tool in evaluating and diagnosing conditions involving the liver, kidneys, bladder, heart, lungs and other internal organs.
For complex cases, we can send radiographs out to veterinary radiography specialists for further evaluation. Now that we have the latest direct digital technology, we are able to decrease the time required to receive the reports from the radiologist, as the radiographs are sent directly to the specialists over the internet. This allows us to receive reports back within 12-24 hours and even faster in emergency situations.
Radiography is also important in dentistry, enabling us to evaluate your pet's teeth quickly and accurately. See more information on our dentistry page.
