- Bathing
- Pets are bathed using the Prima Animal Bathing system which provides a massaging jet of shampoo penetrating the thick coat directly to the skin. This system creates a cleaner pet as well as makingbathing quicker and less stressful on the pet. Shampoo choices include a standard cleansing shampoo, a flea shampoo, a variety of medicated shampoos or a shampoo that you provide. A coat conditioner or other medicated conditioner is available upon request.
- Included with the standard bath is a pedicure. All of the nails are trimmed with either standard pet nail trimmers or filed down with a dremel at your request. Also included is a thorough ear cleansing and expression of the anal glands.
- Pets are thoroughly dried, brushed and if desired, perfumed spray applied, prior to discharge to help create a handsome, clean and odor-free companion.
- Medicated Dips
- Some pets have serious skin conditions requiring a medicated dip. Some of these dips have strong odors and require special handling to be applied correctly. Our expert grooming staff can apply these dips to your pet making it a convenient option for treating your pet’s dermatological needs.
- FURminator Shed-Less Treatment
- The specialized FURminator shampoo and de-shedding tool have been proven to reduce shedding by 90% in pets after one or two treatments. By reducing the amount of shedding, your pet will be healthier, cleaner and in cats, it can even reduce the frequency of hairballs.
- Breed Cuts
- Breed specific haircuts are available by appointment. When you check-in your pet for grooming, you will fill out a grooming sheet detailing how you would like your pet’s hair to be cut. If you have specific requests or if your pet has special needs, ask to speak directly to Junior, our groomer, to be sure that your pet can be groomed exactly as you instruct.
- Sanitary Clips
- A sanitary clip involves trimming the hair around the “private” areas to help prevent the accumulation of urine or feces on the hair and skin. This is particularly helpful for long-haired dogs and cats and for those with thick, dense undercoats such as Shepherds and arctic breeds.
- Feline Trims
- Cats require special TLC when being groomed because of their level of stress. Our grooming staff is trained to help cats have a pleasant experience during the grooming process. A variety of feline haircuts are available from trims, to lion cuts, or even a complete shave-down for very matted long-haired cats.
