Brad Rosonke, DVM & Cathy Rosonke - Owners
Cathy Rosonke graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Mass Communication. She has over 20 years of business experience, including 5 years in radio and television and 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry. As Hillside's Hospital Administrator, Cathy manages the advertising/marketing, finance, computer networking, and human resource operations of the Hospital.
Dr. and Cathy Rosonke are both South Dakota natives whose paths crossed here in Phoenix in 1999. They were married in 2001 and set out to combine their passion for animals and talent for business to create a family owned company that would become Hillside Animal Hospital. The Rosonke family includes rescues Angus (Terrier Mix) and Zak (Wolfhound/Lab mix) and West Highland Terrier Alex. They fully understand the power of the human~animal bond, and can relate to pet owners who see their pets as their "children". It's the understanding of the precious role that pets play in their owner's lives that is the foundation of Hillside Animal Hospital.
Nicola Council, DVM
Dr. Nicola Council received her DVM from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, following completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Arizona, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her senior year of veterinary school, she received an award from the American Animal Hospital Association for excelling in small animal medicine and surgery.Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, pain management, soft tissue surgery and the human-animal bond. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
Dr. Council and her husband, Jeremy, and daughter Sophia share their home with their two dogs, Emma, a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, and Toby, an Australian Shepherd mix, and two leopard geckos, Elizabeth and Darcy. Her favorite pastimes include photography and spending as much time outdoors as possible, including hiking, biking and geocaching.
Andria Bolton - Campus Manager
Andria graduated from Iowa State University in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She lived her whole life in Iowa prior to moving to Scottsdale shortly after graduating. She has been with the Hillside Animal Hospital team since January 2007 where she thoroughly enjoys her daily client interactions. Andria's pets are (best friends) Jack, a gray tabby cat and JD, a chihuahua. Andria likes to hike, swim, and watch movies in her free time.Hillside Animal Hospital of Scottsdale offers exceptional care for your pet's needs.
